The Pornstar Martini is a popular cocktail, was created by Douglas Ankrah of Lab Bar in London in 2002, while formulating the menu for the Townhouse Bar in Knightsbridge, inspired by a drink he tried in Cape Town.
 
Initally, the drink drink was called the Maverick Martini, but it was later rebranded as the Pornstart Martini due to the alluring and provacative nature. It gained significant popularity, even being named the UK's favourite cocktail in 2018.
